Rice cake skewer is one of the top snacks that is popular within Korea among kids! :)

Well, Traveling makes us all kidful right ~

Hope you ALL enjoyed eating it and those who are watching this out there! Try this at home!

*Ingredients*

red pepper paste (gochujang)

ketchup

oligosaccharide

sugar

soy sauce

rice cake

skewer

*Directions*

1. get the rice cake soaked in water to make it softer
2. mix all the sauce in the ingredients above, gochujang, oligosaccharide, sugar, soy sauce, and ketchup.
3. skewer the rice cake.
4. toast the rice cake until it gets a bit golden :)
5. put the sauce over the rice cake.

Today's Weekend Cooking menu is riceballs.

Do you know what the riceball is?

This is really easy and tasty food.

You can put any ingredient just what you want.

Only one thing you have to keep is mix that with rice by hand then make it balls to feed easily.

Then, let's see how to make 'riceballs' in this time?

*Ingredients

Sesame Oil

Soy sauce

Salt

Mayonnaise

Rice

Seaweed

 Canned tuna

Pickled Radish
Ham

*Directions

Mix all of those ingredients and make it small ball shape.

And eat one ball for one bite!

Weekend cooking 63th Travelers Planet hostel[Hostel in Hongdae, Seoul, Korea]

Hello, guys!

This morning, Travelers Planet family cooked

"Steamed egg" as previously announced!

We were so happy that all our guest enjoyed this a a lot <3



Watch this video and try it yourself!



* Ingredient

- 4 eggs

- 3/4 cup water

- 2 tsp salt

- 1 scallion, chopped



* Direction

In a heat safe bowl, whisk eggs, water, salt, and scallions together until fully combined.

If using microwave, cover the bowl with a plate and cook for 4 minutes.

If steaming on stove, steam bowl in steamer for 10 minutes over medium-high meat. You can also just put the bowl in a large pot with a few inches of water at the bottom.

Weekend Cooking 45th at Travelers Planet Hostel.

This weekend, we made Bolied Dumplings Pancake for our guests!!!

From now on I will tell you how to make Boiled Dumplings Pancake

1. Fill a pan with 1 bowl of water and turn on the heat. 

2. Put the dumplings for 5 min when water boils.

3. Crack eggs into a bowl and lightly beat.

4. Drain the excess water and put oil

5. panfry it, pressing firmly against bottom until golden brown.

6. Add in and chopped shallots and beaten eggs.

February 14th in Korea is also Known as Valentine's Day but it is specifically for a girl to give her guy chocolate or candy.


It is supposed to be handmade chocolate but most people just buy something from many, many places offering beautifully wrapped boxes.

So guys, you can just sit back and relax... for now~!!!




March 14th is White Day in Korea, and that means if your girl gave you chocolate or candy, you too have to get some for her,, ha ha~




I'm waiting for the Black Day. 14th of April. Black Day is an opportunity for all single people to get together and either drown their sorrows or celebrate their freedom, depending on their outlook, over a bowl of the classic Korean- Chinese dish Jajangmyeon
(Black bean noodles).

Seoraksan National Park

Hi, Everyone!

Let's go to Seoraksan National Park to see beautiful autumn leaves on October.

Leaves have already begun changing color on Korea’s mountains since earlier this month, beginning at northernmost Seoraksan and spreading southward to Woraksan and Songnisan, with Naejangsan and Duryunsan in the south expected to be the last in line to don their autumn dress (around October 25 and 28, respectively). Peak foliage, which refers to when approximately 80% of the leaves on any mountain have changed color, has likewise arrived first on Seoraksan (on October 17). The central region is expected to reach peak foliage within the next two weeks.

When most Koreans think of the best places to view autumnal foliage in Korea, they think of Mt. Seoraksan National Park which is considered to have some of the most beautiful maple trees in autumn in the country. With its majestic peaks and uniquely–shaped rock formations rising up from the maple and pine covered foothills and tranquil valleys below; it’s no wonder that Seoraksan is a popular destination this time of the year.
