Look at the biscuit fired pork meat. Look so tasty!

This is first time to get all staffs together.

Samgyupsal couldn't be better, All staffs had so much fun.

It was really exciting night!

Weekend Cooking 60th at Travelers Planet Hostel.

We made " Stir-Fried Zucchini” for our guests at Travelers Planet Hostel Common area which is 4th floor!!!

This is a quick delicious zucchini dish!

* Ingredient

- 2 pounds sliced zucchini

- 2 garlic cloves, minced

- 1/4 cup olive oil

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

- 1/4 teaspoon pepper

* Direction

In a large skillet, saute the zucchini and garlic in oil until zucchini is crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with seasonings. Serve immediately.

Weekend Cooking 51st at Travelers Planet Hostel

Weekend cooking is back! ;)

We made Buchu Jeon for our guests 

at Travelers Planet Hostel Common area which is 4th floor!!!

Let me tell you how to make it!!

** Ingredients **

Buchu (scallions),  Korean pancake mix (or flour with egg), Water, 

Soy sauce, Sesame oil, regular oil

1. Pour some water to Korean pancake mix and make it like watery.

If you don't have Korean pancake mix, you can use flour and put an egg in it.

2. Chop Buchu as much as you want and put into no.1

3. Put some oil on a pan and make Buchu Jeon.

4. For the sauce, only needs Soy sauce and little bit of sesame oil.

5. Enjoy Buchu Jeon!!

Weekend Cooking 44th at Travelers Planet Hostel.

This weekend, we made Seaweed and egg soup[Gim & gyelan gug] for our guests!!!

It is simple to cook and full of nutritious. 

And it's a good beauty food, making the skin elastic and clear.

From now on I will tell you how to make it!!

1. Fill a pot with 1 bowl of water and turn on the heat. 

2. Crack eggs into a bowl and lightly beat.

3. Once the water is boiling, slowly add the eggs. 

4. Add in the dried seaweed once the beaten eggs turn into yellowish flower floating about. Then add in salt or chicken essence.

5. Boil it for 1 minute over high heat.

6. Add some sesame oil, sprinkle with the chopped green onion leaves and serve.

Happy Chuseok~~~

Chuseok (추석) is the biggest and most important holiday in Korea. Family members from near and far come together to share food and stories and to give thanks to their ancestors for the abundant harvest. Chuseok Day falls on September 19 in 2013, but the holiday is observed for a total of three days (September 18 – 20). Fortunately, this year’s Chuseok holidays fall from Wednesday through Friday, giving making it a five-day holiday in total. Many Koreans will visit the homes of their families to spend quality time together. The holidays provide a good opportunity to enjoy traditional cultural experiences.
